Since I got my first computer, I've been fascinated by video games and always wanted to make a game, so I asked around, *"how do computers work?"* and eventually somebody recommended I get a programming book. I had a iMac growing up so I learned Objective-C and then eventually Swift and iOS. Sixteen years later and I know how to program, but I don't know anything else about video game development. So I want to start from Scratch. Yes literally, [Scratch](https://scratch.mit.edu/) the game development program developed by MIT to teach grade school programming concepts. My thought is that [[Website/What Is Fed, Grows|what is fed, grows]], and I need to start small with something very easy to begin my game development journey. Maybe Scratch is too simple and I'll quickly outgrow it, but I'd rather start from a place of easy mastery than blocked frustration. There's nothing stopping me from quickly moving on to [Godot](https://godotengine.org/) or Unity, for example.
